Career and Personal Development reflects each individuals desire to become the very best they can be. It is about making the choice to live your life with intention, design and at your highest possible level of achievement.

The Roadmap to Success for High Achievers is used as the primary tool for the career/personal development and growth of my clients. As you read the Roadmap, picture yourself developing your own Roadmap to Success and reaching out for YOUR next level of achievement.

‘The Roadmap to Success’ For High Achievers

High Achievers know that certain actions and choices are required in order to create and maintain their “Roadmap to Success.” These include:

High Achievers know who they really are, what they really want in business and in their personal life, and why they really want it. This gives them clarity and the ability to focus on the priorities that are most important in their life.

High Achievers know that the secret to setting inspiring, fulfilling goals is to create goals that are supported by their personal values and that meet their personal needs.

High Achievers are passionate about something in their life.

High Achievers know that they are responsible for the choices they make in life. Therefore, if something is going to happen in their life, it is because they choose for it to happen. They believe in that old saying, “If it is to be, it is up to me” and they hold themselves accountable for the results.

High Achievers have the courage to make tough decisions, to take the necessary risks and to act on making the needed changes in order for change to happen in their life. They know better than to make their decisions based on fears.

High Achievers walk their talk. They do as they say they’ll do. They live their life with integrity and “an attitude of gratitude.” They understand that giving even more value than expected is what makes people attracted to doing business with them.

High Achievers know their strengths and weaknesses and how to use both of them in positive ways.

High Achievers have a clear understanding of this quote by Grace Hansen….

"Don't be afraid your life will end; be afraid that it will never begin."

A Roadmap to Success

1) Define success for your life, on your terms.

1a) Determine where you are today on your road to success.

1b) Clarify your values so that when you set your goals, they will reflect those values.

1c) Create your purpose statement by examining the commitments you are making in

your life….  A purpose that motivates and inspires you.

2) Develop dynamic goals and action oriented strategies that are inspiring and powered by

    your values.

3) Identify your personal operating system.

4) Get your life in the best shape possible by building a strong foundation.

The elements of a strong foundation that will either help you or become roadblocks

on your road to success include:

 • People

 • Skills & Interests

 • Talents & strengths

 • Weaknesses & habits

 • Unfinished business

 • Experiences

 • Environments

 Determining and honoring your boundaries

  Clarifying your requirements

 • Identifying and eliminating and/or reducing tolerations

Building reserves rather than shooting for ‘just enough’

 • Examining your limiting beliefs and feelings about fear and risk

  Putting money in its place

Optimizing your health and energy level
