During the last 35 years of adult experiences I have earned a number of "titles" as summarized below.

Entrepreneur.  I have had the opportunity to create 3 businesses, including Next Level Achievement. Being an entrepreneur requires a person to develop and use skills in marketing, sales, presentations, business organization and people management, as well as courage, focus and determination.

Leader.  Leadership roles have spanned the years beginning with my time in the Marine Corp as a young man. Community organizations have included Girls Inc., United Way, Exchange Club, March of Dimes, International Special Olympics, First United Methodist Church, Habitat for Humanity and the Attitudinal Healing Center.

Corporate Employee.  National level positions as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young and as a National Sales Trainer for a large life insurance company.

Public Speaker.  I have spoken in front of thousands of people at seminars, conferences, workshops and classes through the years. What a fantastic opportunity to touch the lives of as many people as possible.

Teacher.  Over twenty years of teaching Leadership Principles and financial planning and investment classes to people of all ages, from adult education programs to junior high school students through the Junior Achievement program.

Student.  As a life long student who enjoys learning, I continue to improve myself through the education process. From my Bachelor's Degree to the classes and programs I have taken from Coachville training, the School of Coaching, the Graduate School of Coaching, the Small Business School of Coaching, and the Landmark program, I continue to learn new skills that
I can use to help people define what success is for them and then to create the roadmap to
achieve that success.

From a personal growth perspective, I have studied with the following people, either in person or through their programs/books: Norman Vincent Peale, Denis Waitley, Zig Zeigler, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Brian Tracy, Mike Wickett, W. Mitchell, Aaron Hemsely, Danielle Kennedy, Anthony Robbins, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Alan Cohen, Napoleon Hill, Thomas Leonard, James Allen, Og Mandino, Earl Nightingale, Dr. Gerald Jampolosky and Dale Carnegie.

Author.  I have created all of the programs I use for Leadership, Business, Career and Personal Coaching, including "A Roadmap to Success for High Achievers", as well as a number of investment articles, video programs, seminars/workshops and the marketing materials for various projects.

Financial Planner.  I spent much of my adult life helping people financially plan for the many life events and goals they have faced or will face over the years. This led to my knowledge of the importance of having their beliefs about money be fully integrated with their life values.

Father.  My most rewarding and demanding title/role. I have 2 fantastic grown children who are two of my favorite people and friends. This role requires many of the skills necessary to enjoy personal success: leadership, compassion, unconditional love, walking your talk and being able to let go.

Life Adventurer.  All of life is an adventure. When faced with the many challenges that life throws our way, I have had the courage to make tough decisions when needed and take the actions needed to make the necessary changes in my life. All while also having the compassion to consider how those actions will affect others. This courage has helped me to find great joy in my life.

Coach.  And all of these experiences are what led me to be here to help you and others.

For me, my personal success is measured by:
How much I contribute to other’s lives during my lifetime,
How willing I am to take risk in order to improve my life,
How I treat others (living by The Golden Rule),
Living with an "attitude of gratitude",
My relationship with my children,
My relationship with God,
The type of example I am for others,
Walking my talk in all parts of my life,
Being excited about where I live, work and play, and
Inviting and appreciating honest feedback from others so that I
can learn even more about myself through their eyes.
